"Eat as little as possible" sounds an awful lot like "starve yourself" to me. Anyway, see my post above.

Hmmm this could be bad, I think String said he got the 1st sniffer part of the swine flu shot...if he didn't get the 2nd part yet, that means his immune system is boosted which is exactly what boosts the effects of the swine flu.

No. I usually don't eat or eat very little when I'm sick. But that's because I don't feel like it, not because someone else told me so.
As soon as I start to feel like eating again I start to eat. And pretty soon I'll be better.

well we have two things at work here:

the physical (hunger) and the psychological.

the physical is determined by the stomach.

it is just enough so the patient does not expire. he can leave the chicken out as a matter of preference.

Superstring will be more prevalent to complications now from H1N1 influenza virus contracted if he has Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria, so staying fit is important.

Meanwhile H1N1 virus claims more death tolls

    lol
As long as you're throwing up I wouldn't recommend eating anything substantial.

My doctor once told me that drinking Coca cola is a good thing when you have the flu..

I've been sick since Saturday. My wife, daughter, and two of my sons are also sick. As is over half of my daughter's class. (she had it first in our family).

No one has seen the doctor, But I assume it's the swine flu since that's what's going around. On the plus side, this settles the issue of whether or not to get the vaccine.

i get bad headaches and pains alot during the winter, alot of chills, Always tired, and discomfort.. and I get bad stuffy noses and tend to cough alot more.. but I have never really had a flu.. unless you count the 24hr bug I normally get....

not just that.. you can make broths.. drs dont like people eating when they are sick, but tell you to drink all that you can. its easier on ur tummy..so make soup and just drink the juice if you dont feel liek eating

Just got back from the doctor. It's tentatively H1N1, but we won't know until Friday.

Until then, I'm out of work for at least five days and I'm taking Tamiflu.

Ehm..you can also die of the regular flu...if things develop wrongly. If you're generally a healthy person then H1N1 will be similar to having the regular flu, maybe it will be a bigger strain for your body...but that's about it. But actually...why should it..the regular flu is horrible, too.
