Humanity: A contradiction of ideals

    Now as a species are basic desire is to further our race and make it possible for our species to continue on through time. Through technological advances we are making life easier for us and hence we believe we are helping this goal. But isn't this a contradiction if at the same time we are destroying our planet and in some ways causing more health problems for ourselves?

    Considering this thread is seventeen years old, the OP has likely either gotten an answer, or no longer cares.
