Lack of data? Is that REALLY it? Or could it be most scientists (not all mind you) are too scared they'll look like some kook if they even give an inch to all the research done in this field so far. One has to think first of one's future career afterall, no?

Finding new phenomena that goes against known science that could be verified, documented, and studied wouldn't make a scientist look like a kook. It would make them Nobel candidates. Anything ground breaking is hardly something a career scientist would turn away from.

But it's got to be more than statistical flukes, conditions weren't right this time, or night vision video cameras that can't be held steady.

If you'd like to start a new thread to discuss the enormous wealth of data that's being purposefully ignored or suppressed, by all means do. Make sure you search first, it's probably been done before here.

I have no interest in discussing a phenomena or a field of research with others who claim it doesn't exist. Been there done that. Creationists do the same thing with evolution. They sit in their recliners and deny till the cows come home that there's no evidence for evolution. When you present it they nitpick and gripe about it. So no..if you wanna see if there's evidence for the paranormal then type "evidence for paranormal" in Google and start reading. I've done my homework and weighed the evidence. It's up to others to do their own.

Find me one peer reviewed scientific journal with a study that supports the paranormal.

You would have to have someone create several shapes to wave in front of your closed eyes and you would have to guess them correctly. Our brains have a special relationship to our bodies, we can even identify with virtual bodies and feel pain in limbs that are absent.
