Where do you live Baron? I live in Manhattan, for years I lived in the East Village. There is a Hell of a Gay Pride Parade, but I have never heard aof any of the other things you mention. Unless you live in the gayest part of San Francisco (and even then...), I can't imagine it's as "in your face" as you seem to be suggesting. And by the way, you can see images that strongly suggest of heterosexual sex far more often. Those images make billboards, prime time network TV, they hint at it in beer and shampoo commercials and Axe body spray commercials. How long ago was Brylcreem telling men "the gals will all pursue ya" and stating: What I suspect is that you are very sensitive to the displays of homosexual conduct you see. Selective memory bias then makes it seem like it's "everywhere", while blinding you to the actual pervasiveness of heterosexual imagery and allusion. Within a given community, homosexuals may have a parade a year, a few "holidays" that no one observes (if they have even heard of them) and every few years the networks put on a show with prominent gay themes, plus every community has a few bars dedicated to gay clientele (though except for gay people, most don't know those establishments well). That's hardly "everywhere." Compare that to heterosexual pervasiveness and there's no contest.
