Looking back to 1776 and a declaration made by a certain territory, I'm asking the question: Was it worth it? The declaration of independence, then the institution of a bill of human rights ... Was it worth it? Beginning with the 1st. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Was/is this human right worth fighting for?
