help on Whatman FTA card!

    Hi dear friends
    My professor has given a question to me.I searched 3 days but I couldn't find any thing!please help me..
    The question is:What substance in Whatman indicating FTA card causes color change from pink to white?

    Good question. These things seems to come from GE Healthcare but I could not find what indicator they use. Does the indicator react to moisture, i.e. goes pink again when it dries, or does the change to white remain, even after the card has dried out?

    Thanks a lot. .It becomes white in contact with fluids like buccal fluid,and dosent change to pink again.
