In my opinion this is going to be an incredible series. The only small gripe I have is 300's(Frank Miller) influence on the cinematography. Besides that, the action and political intrigue is fascinating. You can watch it online for free. http://www.starz.com/originals/spartacus
It is also aviable on Netflix. The show is on Friday nights and I guess after that they put up online for free. <<< I don't get it, no ads at all. My wife is gonna love this show...
The actor who plays Spartacus starred in Gabriel, an Australian film that I LOVE. His name is Andy Whitfield. I personally can't wait to watch the show!
After the first 3 episodes, it is entertaining, lots of titties, fights and sex. What else do we need? Lucy Lawless looks still very sexy... I wonder if they planned only one season? After all we know how it ends...
men like watching 2 women, why would it be odd for a woman to like watching 2 men? I think a man would know what another man would like. Maybe I could pick up a few pointers. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Good answer. It is just that for men about men...it is "euw" time, and for women about women, it could be the same way...(unless one is after same sex...)
Actually, it is terrible answer, since women are usually not into visuals when it goes to sex. That's why Playgirl is bought mostly by gays and not females... Now there is going to be a 2nd season, it was already ordered before the first season started...
what do you know what women like? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! A film is vastly different than a photo.
I've heard great things about it, but alas, I do not have STARS. HBO and Showtime only. :::sigh::: It'll be out on video soon. ~String
Do you know that the female of the human species have eyes too? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I have done informal research with about hundreds of women in my yoga classes and the results are what Orleander says...
It's okay.. Sort of a cross between Rome and 300, though the story is less engaging than either thus far. Some of the 300 influences are laughable, like when Spartacus spears a disabled man on the ground in front of him, causing a solid wall of blood to erupt behind Spartacus himself. I do like that they are accurate about the oddities of Roman culture though, like the copious use of slaves (or the scene where the slaves are sexually servicing the married couple, so they are aroused enough to have sex with one another).
Starz will only allow you to watch the first 2 episodes on their website. Just do a google search and there's plenty of sites that's streaming it for free. There's also plenty of high quality torrents available.
Did anyone catch the last episode "The thing in the pit"? As good as the HBO series "Rome" was, this completely blows it away. Thank goodness I was born in the 19th century. As much as we bitch and complain, our problems pale in comparison to those who existed for thousands of years before us.
