Hadamard gates

    Does anyone know why these are important in QC? Do you need to have other kinds as well or can you just use these gates?

    I guess the expectation value here is completely undetermined?

    P.S. I could, maybe, say something about the transform, and why a single kind of gate does not a circuit make.
    But my blatant disregard for protocol could stuff things up here.
