We have already demonstrated how we may "steal" gravity's energy from a planet and convert it into kenetic energy for our space craft. (side note - did you know you can explain relationships among people with physics? So very interesting. And what is facinating is that it actually makes sense) This transfer was NOT perfectly efficient. Can anyone tell me why? (assume no atmosphere).
