Grand Unification is often conflated with the Theory of Everything but the two have a fundamental interaction of a difference. The Theory of Everything unites the four fundamental interactions 1. Electromagnetism 2. Gravitation 3. The Weak nuclear 4. The Strong nuclear interaction while Grand Unification unites three interactions of the Standard Model (excluding gravitation). The Superstring theory is the best known example of ToE and GUT.
