The internet is a sea of crap. Spam, tasteless porn, get rich quick scams, stupid blogs, stupid fora, etc. It takes a certain amount of skill to avoid wading through it all by using the search engines properly.

 

If you mean that certain things you search for in regards to Serials, Cracks, Pr0n, torrent sites and assorted warez then the likelihood is that Google is indeed censoring it. The reasons for this are simple, they are a company and companies unfortunately can be sued if they are 'promoting illicit activities'. Although Google isn't stating they are at one with the Hacking and Cracking Universe, it could still be proclaimed that they are advocates by the admissions into their search engine.

It's both good and bad in both senses of the word, on the one hand you don't have skript kiddies messing up the net because their tutorials might become blocked but on the other hand those people doing legitimate research can't freely gain access to the information either.

 

I actually still don't know how to use google. I just type in some words. Is there more to it?

 

You can search for multiple quoted phrases. Not many people know this.

Well.. yeah. It means you're searching for a precise phrase or a number of precise phrases, rather than just keywords. A good way of narrowing down the search when you're looking for something specific.

As for precise phrase searching just put that phrase inside quotation marks...which are these---> " " Example would be: "This is a community of very friendly" and thereafter just put that into google search engine and Voila! you can find it at ease.

But wait there stranger =) You can also put quotation marks around a phrase and than type "sciforums" next to it (making sure you leave one space in between each consecutive quotation), this will allow you to narrow down the search to sciforums.com
