Glacial erosion study

    A really sweet study that adds to comprehension, but posted here for an ulterior reason: it's an example of well funded and respectably published research into matters relevant to AGW that uncovers good news of a kind, namely the potential of a negative feedback loop.

    Faster moving glaciers erode more in proportion to the square of their speed, apparently. At least sometimes. That means we have a reasonable chance of seeing glacial melting acting as a nonlinear boost to fertilization of algae in the oceans, a known mode of CO2 boost mitigation. A probably small, but visible, possibility.

    But aside from that, a nice bit of high quality research.
