    In polluted areas the ratio of boys and girls being born is skewed towards girls compared to non-polluted areas.

    That means that more girls are born in a polluted environment.

    They suspect it might be a survival strategy of the human species. If the environment causes stress on the human species it is a survival mechanism to produce more women since they can produce more offspring (then men). More women, more babies can be born. And maybe the local population can survive more easily.

    Or are girls just dirty?

    A 1% difference, in only one study, in only one city, by only one man, without a control group under similar environmental variables, without a valid hypothesis or explanation, hardly justifies for you to suggest or assume that "girls are dirty?"

    that test has a 1% difference in the number of girls born, that's hardly evidence. Repeat the test a few times in many other cities around the world, and see what turns up.

    Well they do have a unique odour when you go down on them. Smells generally come from dirty enviroments. Therefore girls = dirty. Plus they have to sit down on toilet seats. That can't be hygienic.
