Years back while in Italy I had the opportunity to view The Statue of David. The thought in my mind while looking at it was perfection. I couldn't define why it was perfect, but it spoke to me on some level I couldn't understand. Also, I had an appreciation for the intent, motivation and effort that must have gone into its creation. On the surface it's just a naked guy with a towel flung over his shoulder, but it reaches deeper than one might expect. This gives thought that genius, creativity and madness somehow compliment each other--the eternal artist trying to realize the abstraction of life, searching for its expression in reality through his work. Perhaps the frustration of never fully realizing the abstraction eventually drives the genius mad. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
