Genesis is god!!! The Death star is an poorly built piece of crap that was completly decimated by a single laser blast into a 3 meter exaust duct.

I think the ofcourse the Genesis Bomb when ever you can use less resource it is logical to do so if the returns are equal.

I'd say the returns are greater with Genesis anyway. you wipe out your enemy and get a nice shiny new planet

The Death Star would never have been destroyed if not for:

    1. Someone happened to steal the plans.
    2. The "toppest" team in Star Wars to bring it to Yavin 4.
    3. The Force to allow Luke to throw a proton torpedoe in it.

The Second Death Star wouldn't have been destroyed if not:

    1. The Emperor wanted the Alliance to know where it is. (most important)
    2. The luck of the Rebel strike team to meet the little fuzz balls (Ewoks)
    3. The sheer bravery that led to the capture of a vital AT-ST (Chewbacka)
    4. The luck that Lando had when venturing into the Death Star.

In short, without the Star Wars Rebel characters, the Death Star could never be destroyed, and they would be invincible to everyone.

The end result is a Terraformed deathstar.

Both. Death Star destroys the planet full of enemies, and then Genesis creates a new planet for the Empire to use.

Wrong. The Shields would easily stop your phaser strike, half second later your ship would be atomized .

Genesis Device...It would take all available matter in a given volume of space and convert it to a usable planet. It wouldn't matter if you had 20 Death Stars or a non stop Star Forge spitting out usable matter. Genesis would devour and convert all. Of course, it is small and transportable, easily hid from others, but amazingly powerful. Bring it on!

Easily detectable if activated and probably easily destroyed as well. Plus we have no reason to believe it would work through a shield either. Infact the genesis cave seems to show that it can be contained easily.

Star Forge can beat any superweapon.

Not so actually. A Death Star woyuld easily defeat such a device. The Star Forge uses a star as it's power source. The first Death Star could create in one day more energy than our Sun could gnerate in seven years.

So super weapon versus super weapon the Star Forge loses.

No, it can build a Death Star. It suck the sun up in I don't know, 1 year? 10 years?. It can make other Star Forges.

Incorrect, how can something powered by a star produce something that can harness the energy of seven years worth of star output in one day. It would take many decades for it to produce that device. Hopwever the Death Star fires once and Star Forge is completely gone.
