a lot of games, but the only games with a shortcut on my desktop (not the one i posted earlier in the desktop thread, since that was my work computer. it has only got one game: Q3)

Games that you pay for suck by default. I haven't bought a game since WCIII, but that one is worth it. Before that, it was years since I bought a game. I just download snes ROMs and burn all my buddies PS1 games to my hard drive.

i can agree on that...i bought so many games in my life and maybe i was happy with 10 of them...and that is a optimistic estimate. what a waste of money...

Yeah, I don't play games anymore.

There is one game I'm looking forward to though - Civ IV. Shaping up to be GOTY.

 

On this computer, right now I have Rome: Total War, Morrowind, Civilization w/ expansion, Doom 3 w/ expansion, Painkiller w/ expansion, Battlefield 2, Pirates!, Alpha Centauri w/ expansion, Dungeon Siege w/ expansion, Dungeon Siege 2, Links 2003 w/ expansion, Half-Life 2, Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, and RTCW: Enemy Territory.

On my older computer, I have more older games (mainly '97-'03) on it that I sometimes play networked (mainly Alpha Centauri, Dungeon Siege 1, and Links '03). Then in my closet and CD cases I have lots more current games that just aren't installed and tons more dating all the way back to '78 (Empire, baby) from various computer systems.

Yes, I'm a total PC gamer, heh. I've been gaming since I was 3. I'm old enough to retire from it now, lol. Just too bad I can't get a pension from it.

Battlefield 2 : very, good. A must for vehicle based FPS enthusiasts and a damn good team game.
Rainbow Six: Raven Shield : A must for gun nerds, for whom a generic MP5 or colt is not enough and it must be supressed A4 varient in the rarer 10mm round or whatever. If you have this game - DOWNLOAD Vadim's wepons so you can use more that one option at a time (silencer / oversize clip / scope).
CSS, CS1.6 : Let no man stand between another and his counter terrorist activities.
FarCry : Seeing is believing. Sneaky killing action on very large maps.
FS2004 : I love helicopters and planes... and would like to steal an apache one day. Hence the trainging.
Total Annihilation : What began as a conflict over the transfer of conciousness to machine has escalted into a war that has all but depleted the resources of a million worlds. The only acceptable outcome for either side is total annihilation of the other.
Deus Ex : Without a doubt, one of the finest games ever made.
Morrowind : I once played this for 24 hrs straight. It's glory cannot be descirbed.

 

Heh, after playing a MUD for 9 years and finally quitting the crack addict addiction of it, I've learned to stay away from MMORPGs.
