I'm guessing this post is for me

THEN (as a bookmark) yes it

    WAS in existence as NOW

In current NOW NO previous bookmarks exist

What is so hard to understand about NOW being the only moment in existence?

    NOW regresses into the PAST

but no longer EXIST in the PAST

JUST as current NOW will extend into the future

but current NOW does not EXIST in the future

    AT THIS CURRENT NOW BOOKMARK

Each and every bookmark you place within NOW is unique

    Between each and every bookmark

everything in the Universe AGED by whatever arbitratory AGE units you care to choose

    As for time travel

    from current NOW

there is NO PAST in existence to travel to or

    any FUTURE either

Breakfast time here near 6:30am Monday morning and QI watching

Clock time measures the Earth's progress around the Sun. That is change in space. Good morning.

If there is nothing there will be nothing forever.

    Morning

Defining a first word with a second word, and then defining the second word with
the first, you have a truism. Time is often defined by duration and duration is
frequently defined by time; these are fallacies, because time and duration denote the
same concept, and they are both expressed with the same units.

    TIME ) DURATION ) TIME

    From

The Invention of Time and Space

The duration between events denote how long the event has aged, along with the rest of the Universe

    Clocks do not produce time

    Only measure age

    That's what I believe also

However it has been explained to me that quantum fluctuations ensure that NOTHING is a impossible state

Hence the Universe is in existence

My 3 neurone brain goes along with the notion simply because the Universe does exist

However they are shaking their tiny head in an effort to comprehend

Hi again Michael. I agree. Nothing cannot and does not exist. Hence we have a universe.

    But problems remain

I would have thought that the default position would be

    NOTHING

What in my lexicon I call

    TOTAL INFINITEY VOID

So where does the stuff of the Universe come from???

That I suspect it will forever remain a mystery

And I was so close to getting to know everything

You bought a deck of tarot cards?

A lot of people do. They're beautiful and look nice just scattered around the house. Tarot is so popular that you can find catalogs that offer dozens of themes. My wife has five different decks, and it's a lot of fun to look them over.

Yet in my whole life I've only met one person (a friend of my wife) who actually knows how to use them "properly." She would have been happy to give me a reading, and considering her background (25% Native American and boy she lets you know it!), I have no doubt that she really knows the Tarot. But I just wasn't up for it, at least not that day.
