It can be argued that Pluto shouldnt even be there... And isnt the flag for Earth only? What if there are alien lifeform on Neptune? ...

i have seen some nice designs so far i would have to say the most abstract design so far goes to dragon you guys are a creative bunch
I like dragon's for originality and stuff, but it needs some touch ups. First, why is it thicker at the center? I think the bands should be of uniform lenght. Right now it looks like a globe split in half and then stretched and deformed. two, air is the same as the atmosphere Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I also don't quite like the DNA becoming smaller... That makes it look less like DNA. And since the magma is already red, I think it should be another color. Why should the flag be simple anyway? is the earth simple? no, it's extremely complex and that's part of the beauty of it. I think maybe a background should have like a million things, each representing what's unique about the earth. And since it would be in the background, it wouldn't overpower the um... main flag thing. It would be complex, yet appearing simple.

In the center is the Earth, the shade of blue is taken from an actual satellite photo, blue, because most of our planet is covered in it, besides then nobody gets angry because his continent or island is not shown. The three vertical lines mean that our planet is third from the central star and they are green to symbolize life. The yellow half circle is our Sun, the shade of colour is again taken from a telescope image. A small, blue jewel of life in the blackness of space. The horizontal line represents the energy that goes from the Sun to all other celestial bodies of our Solar system, the form of energy that supports and gives life to almost all life forms on this planet (and maybe other planets and moons). And even that life which doesn't require the radiation of the Sun is dependant on its' energy, namely - gravitational force which holds our planet in an almost stable orbit (we are slowly getting closer to the Sun). If you turn the flag by 90 degrees, you'll see a stylized flower. Besides if you focus your vision on the planet, there's an optical effect that you are leaving the Earth, i.e., it gets smaller, thus enchanting the "in space" idea (or if you stare for longer it develops other movement). --- oh, and I like dragon's idea

If by "our supremacy" you thought "my egoism" then yes, it doesn't show any of it. It largely is my personal worldview on our planet, I guess your's is different.
