Make it yellow. Hardly anyone has a yellow flag, it would be more neutral and happy.

I think something reflective of the planet Earth would be nice, space shot of great china wall? and then maybe telletubbies dancing in repeating pattern round the border

isn't the state of texas a flag with one star?

how about a black flag with the bright blue earth in the middle?

 

Yellow with a stylised bright blue and green earth

 

how about rays of colors
that would be even better
it could symbolize the various races

 

Maybe a blue circle in the center, representing the earth.
Have that surrounded by 7 gold stars - one for each continent.

...What is that supposed to symbolize? If there was an Earth in it's "crosshairs", it would make sense.

Also, having a flag was originally used as identification for a respective nation. Wouldn't having a flag for Earth imply that there is other life out there to identify ourselves to? Or would it just be attempt to unify the ununifyable?
