Saw both Rango and Rio. The look of Rango is more pro, but everyone in it is fugly. Also it is a rather depressing story, with enviromentalist message. The story keeps lagging until the action scenes come on. Those are top notch.
Rio was pure fun with lots of jokes, and the voices were better too. The colors are crazy and the story more suitable for children...

This one is for you Lori,

Super (2010), It's about a Christian superhero who gets inspiration from Jesus to fight crime. I really think you will like it. There are some super sexy bits too.

I liked the Hunter Thompson references. Too bad I wasted my money that weekend on Battle: Los Angeles.

Wife, son and I watched "Pan's Labyrinth" today. Spanish, with English subtitles.

I give it 5 stars out of a possible 5 stars. Excellent story and screenplay, very believable en toto, great acting and cinematography. Only one editing flub that I noticed, otherwise dam near perfect film. The end had me in tears. The digital animation was excellent - if I knew what software they used I would buy it for myself. The makeup was great as well, Pan was very believable. So were the fairies. So were the dam Nazis.

The bad guy got what he deserved as well. Extremely well done flick overall. If you are seriously into cinema then you should catch this one.
