I am in college and the whole floor is connected on the LAN network; everyone on the floor can see each other's computers.

I shared my files and printer (so my roommate can access them).

How do I put a password on my printer/computer? When they double click on my comp to access it, I want a password screen to pop up. I don't want people screwing around and printing random crap wasting precious expensive ink.

How do I password protect it? If they want to add my printer through the network, they gotta enter a password to do so; that is what I want. I have Windows XP Pro

    Thanks
