Silly in the extreme. Muslims believe in gods, creationism and no free will, as you've just explained, yet this somehow is NOT in conflict with science.

    Too funny, sam.

this is truer than most people (jews included) will like to admit.
i have always seen islam as much closer to judaism than christianity...kind of like "the little brother of judaism", if you will.
same road, same destination....but the roadsigns are written in a different language. not much difference in most other aspects of the two religions either, to be perfectly honest.

might as well call me a muslim, or sam a jew....its basically saying the same thing.

is it any sillier than someone once believing the world was round, or that light has substance, or the theory of relativity? i dont think so.

its a matter of the particular person observing the ideas willingness to be objective. somewhere along the line, all the idiots that said the world was flat were proven wrong...and every single one of them thought "it couldnt happen to me! i have provable, empirical data in front of me!"

you will always be wrong, no matter how much you laugh at folks that disagree.

    and so will i.

Its interesting that you as a cosmologist would find it funny. Much of cosmology involves fantastic explanations of serendipitous observations.

    Absolutely.

So, are you saying the idiots are NOT the creationists, that they'll be bringing forth "empirical data?"

And, you'll simply always be wrong.

At least, cosmology has observations. :blbl:

so you are saying that the "round earthers" during that time were being silly?
perhaps you should read what i wrote a bit closer..you contradict your own point.

no, im saying that you speaking for all of scientific thought is as ludicrous as me speaking on behalf of scientology....not credible, and completely arrogant in its delusion.

about what, praytell? you seem to be very good at judging others...i wonder if you have ever in your life pointed that accusatory finger at yourself?

Whats a less advanced form of life? Why is it less advanced?

What was Gods involvement in helping along or guiding this advancement?

Nope. It is often theorization sometimes based simply on the elegance adn internal harmony of certain speculations.

    No, I don't.

    I seriously doubt that.

I don't judge others - only their choice of beliefs.

Does the 'A' in SAM stand for avoidance? A less advanced life form would be that from which another life form evolved. That's what it is and why it is. And, I think you already knew that, but are just being flippant.

Evolving, deary. He helped it to evolve.

    So evolution is directed?

That IS the question posed to you.

Ah, so its not directed. There is no "advance" in evolution.

Uh, you certainly do find the most interesting answers, especially where none are offered. :bugeye:

Again, to repeat (are you ready this time?), the question is posed to you.

Yeah, and I could not choose any of the options offered or 1[sup]2[/sup].

And that is because you know you'll get backed into a corner trying to once again explain the supernatural, which you can't.

That's all you really needed to say, sam. No reason to be beating round bushes.

Its nice that you can simplify everything with such ease; no need to think too much just believe the worst of people and all will be clear.
