Our whole purpose in life is to survive and replicate. As males, our survival is much easier than women so we focus on replication, which is why we find healthy females to be attractive and think about it so much. It's a different story for women, though.

Is it possible for heterosexual men to say "No" to sex? Or is it a myth? I mean, can a guy have self-control when being seduced?

 

Thank you for offering, but I actually think I have men down pat.

 

Contrary to popular belief, men are not so desirous of sex that they won't turn it down if they have other things to consider. It is just that we are far more willing to engage in sex, probably because we have so little physical responsibility in the act.

indeed, seduction will not work in the following situations:

football on tv
internet game on offer
mates coming round
too many beers mean no sex, and beer wins
dinner time

 

Theory: you forgot one of the most important ones! A1 steak sauce. Haven't you seen the commercials? Steaks are better than sex, hands down. (I've actually never had sex. Nor A1 steak sauce. Nor sex whilst eating A1 steak sauce. But we all know commercials can't lie, so I consider those details trifling and irrelevent.)

Are you sure you don't? As I am fairly certain I saw A1 Steak Sauce in the UK when I was last there (four years ago).

al-ghazali is very very deep and heavy going, but worth it from an informative view at least.
