Try reducing your daily intake of Valium and Viagra a little. I might help you answer still more of the outstanding theories of light and gravity that are still puzzling scientists and astronomers.......Also, run your new gravity theory by Stephen Hawking and see if he gets excited about it. Chances are he'll probably just smile and say (via his computer), "Keep up the good work".

Einstein got everything wrong , to prove that just look at the pathetic people who are blindly following his mistakes here in SF. Instead of thinking logically and rationally he thought all in maths , thats stupid in astronomy but genius in maths. Keep it up for those who believe in him r gona get rude shocks in near future.

By the way only fools will waste time studying his theories after looking at kinda brainHemorrhage people in SF have got of him. there r lot of better things to do

Einstein was never right in the first place, they're all just theories.

This tread is turning in to pure nonsense. If I were the moderator I would shut it down.

Fascinating article. Thanks. I was particularily interested in that I have worked in this area and have comments and predictions associated with this affect which include Galatic Rotational Velocity (MOND), deep spacecraft anomaly, and pertabations of "g" during eclipses.

I particulairly liked the comment that these changes are instantaneous and concurrent with the eclipse.

There is one thing for sure in all of these posts is that you really can't put your finger on what gravity is, what it looks like and how it is manifested in a body in space.........So far, none of these questions have been answered (and probably never will) either by the world's greatest scientists or by the arm-chair science dudes that seem to proclaim they have some knowledge in this area. I would say this, if you can't explain what gravity is mathmatically, don't say it! You can hypothosize all day, but when it comes to disproving Einstein's Theory of Relativetivity, good luck!

Nice, nice, thats definately one excellent way of putting it RawThinktank. I think all these proclaimed educated peolpe are in for a big surprise. Too bad we have to wait a while to get a good laugh at it. I am confident that they'll find more proof to disprove a lot of what these people think soon.
I would bet that most of these people who call themselves educated don't even know what that word means. "To bring out" Education is not something that can be taught necessarily. Plato said that we already know eveything... just need to find a way to bring it out.

can you give us a brief summary of what Einstein got wrong?

After the brief summary, can you show us mathmatically how you drew your conclusion?

before commenting anymore I think I'll wait till my buddy and his professor get their conclusions and calculations. Obviously the only thing you people can understand is math instead of abstract ideas so when they get that info I will post it. I was going to wait to post the idea until I had a better way to explain it and they had calculations but I was wanting to hear people's opinion. Now I see that was a mistake.

Math is how you communicate in science.......Without it, how can you explain or understand either simple or the complicated forces of nature or the physics of the universe. Just words alone do not communicate understanding.......I may think I understand what I say to you but without the math, I cannot prove it!

Nothing wrong with your statement. But I think part of the problem is the false belief by some that to provide an altenative view of data somehow proves Relativity wrong.

That simply doesn't make sense. If I should, for example, someday be able to show that applying an acclerating force to a mass where that force must be applied via an increasing relative velocity (i.e. particle accelerators) and that as a consequence the efficiency of the energy transfer was being decreased and became "Zero" when the relative velocity was v = c.

I would have a system where the energy required to accelerate a mass would increase as a function of a term called Gamma. It would appear that it would require infinite energy to cause an object to achieve the speed of light.

Which only suggests mass has become infinite but could more realistically be that efficiency has dropped to 0%.

Mathematically the results would be identical to Relativity but the facts would be that mass doesn't change at all. So in one sense Relativity might be claimed wrong. But that really isn't the case. The mathematics of Relativity can be correct but the interpretation of what the math means can be wrong.

That doesn't make Relativity wrong. It makes YOUR understanding of Relativity wrong.

You better start sharpening your pencils again dude.........Einstein was right according to NASA.........Better check the oct. 21, 2004 news reports because NASA verified Einstein's Theory of Relativity! Keep trying dude, maybe someday you'll figure out what E=MC squared really means!

Mathematics is just a language, Pete; one that is well suited to communicating ideas about physical relationships unambiguously. It's a language worth learning.

Must be nice to own the Rosetta stone of physics. Math is just a language? Interesting. Math works and cow pies just lay there on the ground steaming.

Give NASA a call. They're looking for qualified people who have new ideas about space travel and life on other planets. Maybe you can help them out with some of your new abstract ideas!

If i understand what you are saying, its a very interesting idea but I believe its just really creative thinking. You used an example with a waterfall and a ball.....you asked if the ball was falling because of gravity or the water pushing it. Well you forgot that in the overall picture the ball is falling because of gravity.....think about it.....if the ball is being pushed by the water falling.....you have to then think well; why is the water falling??? and the answer is gravity. This would mean that its gravity that is the reason for the ball falling.....not the water pushing......this is why when objects fall with only the force of gravity they fall at the exact same rate.....because there is only one force acting upon both objects....GRAVITY.....you have a very interesitng thought process though....keep it up
