Egg fetcher

    An egg is placed an platform A and is required to be move to platform B successfully, Just by using a device which operates only by pushing the start or stop button. The time of retrieving the egg should not be more than 3minutes and the distance between platform A and B is 3m, both platforms are of equal heights ( h=>1m). Money for project =£25 (less than or + £5)

    Please give solutions and feel free to add links.

    Tie a rope between each platform around a pulley and attach a carriage to it. Then make a scoop to capture the egg.

    PS is it soft or hard boiled?

    Another way is to make a chute and 'power' the egg along with a jet of water from a hosepipe. Make sure you wear waterproof clothing.
