Well... at least in Canada, the government is controlled by CEO's, so they are very friendly to large corporations, which mean that such thing won't happen unless we have another government...

People are not even reading the paper.....

Because government unions are more of a threat. They have so much power, almost 7 million members are out of the Social Security system. No one in the private sector has that clout in DC. They are using their private pension plans to buy up Wall Street. We have CALPERS thugs sitting on the boards of Fortune 500 companies. Hear in Canada that a teacher's union bought a controling stake in one of the largest coal mines in the country. The DNC is a wing of the NEA in America, not the other way around. That union has more political operatives than the RNC and DNC combined. Plus a tax free income of over $250 million a year (much of which it spends lobbying for more money for its' members, added people in the union and more dues for itself). The most ominious government unions in America are the prison guard unions. They wield enormous power in California politics.

Do we really want those whose job is to oversee those who are incarcerated having such a say in making the laws which put people in prison?

Anyone concerned about fascism, look to the investments in the markets made by government unions and prison guards helping write law. This better be stopped before it is too late.

Progressive taxes would make the existance of unions irrelevant.

Not to mention that this sounds more like democracy than fascism. Well... altough when it comes to prison guards, I see your point...

The laws are there in place if people wish to break up these anti-democratic behomouths . All it takes is some guts and a strong leadership , but people are sheeple and will always do as they are told and think the way they are taught to think .
