I know that aftershocks are expected to happen after such a strong quake as this one, but we have seen well above 20 M6+ quakes during the last two days. Is that "normal"? And why do we see just about no other M5+ around the globe, all quakes seems to occur close to Japan now? Could this mean that the m8.9 in fact was part of a "foreschock"? Sorry for the really stupid questions, this things just goes well beyond my reasoning.
