  1. Yes - The provocative & revealing clothing of western women adds to the justification of terrorism..

  2. No - Women should be allowed to walk naked if they want to, without the threat of rape from men.

But not more intelligence. You were arguing that female promiscuity degraded intelligence, as well as expansion and innovation and cultural sophistication. That was a counterexample.
There is no such implication of superior intelligence in my arguments. That is strictly your own take on the matter.
Unwin unearthed nothing of the kind - he invented correlations between factors he had no way of measuring or evaluating in 1920, and assumed causal dependencies between these correlations for which he had no source but his own cultural biases.
There were no such trends, and if there were you would still have no apparent argument or mechanism creating your hypothesized "dependency". Why aren't you arguing that cultural failure and societal stagnation create promiscuity?
    Oh. My. God.

Ok, we've come to a natural culmination of the argument.

btw: it was Eastern Polynesians, not Western, who settled New Zealand, Easter Island, and Hawaii, the far corners of the Polynesian triangle; that was the expanding, exploring, innovative and competent seagoing culture. The Western culture was apparently, by that measure, more stagnant.
