Does The Chauvet Cave Art Contain Hidden Information?

    Hello everyone,

Really pleased to have found this site this morning and simply had to sign up and present what I believe to have found.
I have had to come to the Alternative Theories section for a few reasons. Firstly, this is very alternative and it is difficult to actually place this in any single section elsewhere because of the different connections this makes.
There is a large amount of data to go over. I gave an online presentation of most of the major parts of my find a while ago and that took just over two hours so I will try to keep this as brief as possible and then, hopefully, once questions come up, I can expand on everything

So, having read the Criteria required for this section, I am able to answer all of them (they do not seem to be too strict as mentioned).

My theory is that I believe I have found some form of hidden information embedded into the 35,000 year old cave art of Chauvet. Because of the vast amount of detail this art contains, it appears to be the information that lead to the foundation of the ancient Egyptian and Sumerian cultures (amongst others), hieroglyphics, religion, secret knowledge and much more, including modern day heraldry.

    1. Explain how the "alternative" theory differs from the mainstream theory in its predictions/explanations of phenomena.

In the mainstream version, they have not looked at the art in as great a detail as I seem to have managed. for example, they state that there is only one representation of the human form in the entirity of the art. They state it as being a "black pubic triangle"
    http://www.bradshawfoundation.com/chauvet/venus_sorcerer.php
In my opinion, there is a very large example of the female form encircled with several phallic symbols (which are not prominent, but visible if you look) right in the centre of the main wall.

They have decided that the art was created by simple cave men possibly "high on drugs". I believe this is wrong. the art is so far beyond simple. It took skill, devotion, intent, determination and much more in order to create and complete this vast work to the degree that it now rests. There seems to be several different methods and techniques added to the creation of the work that go far beyond the assumed knowledge of "simple cave men". I have found one image the needs to be rotated by 90 degrees to be seen properly. A few others need to be mirrored (on the direct vertical with no other form of manipulation) in order to reveal the full hidden image.

Some sections can be compared to much later art work that could only have been influenced by this cave art and these comparisons have not been considered due to the way the mainstream have not even considered the possibility or immediately dismiss it as they feel it is impossible.

    2. Outline why the alternative theory is superior to the mainstream one.

The alternative theory is superior in its hidden details and the information encoded into the art work but only if you have been indoctrinated into how to read it or have reached a level of knowledge and understanding as to how to read it. It's very much like the mainstream finding the very first hieroglyphics.

At first they were just strange markings and pictures of people and animals until they were able to decipher it all. I believe this is exactly what I have got here.

I have to provide an example of this and the 'cat' may be the best way to do this. this image shows two forms of animal, possibly bears or felines. The head of one is in the lower right corner, almost on the shoulder of the main central animal.
But there is a hidden cat in this image (can you spot it before you scroll down to the answer)

I've learned quite a bit since getting involved in all of this (and previously in other fields), especially the way the brain works for different people and how we perceive images, how left handed people (which I am) use the opposite side of their brain to those who are right handed etc.. So I understand how some people cannot see some of the things I will be pointing out, whilst others will see it all straight away.

Here is a closer view of the cat.. spotted it yet?

If not, then here it is.. I've added a secondary image that attempts to highlight the cats features..

The methodology they have used here is typical of several other pieces in that they have not given the full complete details to make up a full image. They have deliberately left out sections (in this case, the left eye of the cat is the ear of the animal the cat has been embedded into)

    3. Explain any flaws in the standard science one that are addressed by the alternative theory.

Some of these flaws appear in the answers to 1 and 2 above, but the major reason has to be that the mainstream have not, will not, consider other possibilities. IF.. IF my theory is correct then it will re-write everything we have ever known and answer a lot of our questions, yet it will also throw us many more. It could centralise many fields of study and may even be the original source.

    4. Outline any experimental evidence or tests that do/might enable us to distinguish between the alternative theory and the mainstream one, in order to determine which is superior.

The evidence is in the art and it is at this point that I need to get into providing that evidence.

So, firstly, we have some examples that appear to point towards the ancient Egyptian cultural imagery.

The eye of Ra/horus (this is supposed to be a horses head according to the mainstream. It is attached to what appears to be a horses body but the body is very faint and the entire 'horse' compares in no way to any other examples o horses in the art)

These long horned rhino from the cave art are 'stacked' in the exact same way as we see in many later examples of 'more-than-one-of-the-same'

This next example shows how far and wide the the ideas, or stories, had traveled and how the same thing is interpreted in slightly different ways. The 'bird-man' Thoth, from Chauvet (lower left) Lascaux (upper left) Easter island (lower right) and Egypt.

This next image is the one that I rotated by 90 degrees. The reason for this was the hippo. It was this hippo that really made me stop and think and take another look at this cave art (after first thinking other pieces were mere coincidence).
Here, it is compared to an image from the tomb ceiling of Seti the 1st.

And here is the hippo compared to other later examples from Egypt.

This next one is one of those that have been mirrored on the direct vertical. It is has two messages. Firslty, you will see lions 'rampant' on either side of a chalice (grail) The lower image is a Roman relief from Austria and shows the tree of life growing from the chalice with lions 'rampant' on either side. The Chauvet image also depicts the birth of the first 'God'. There are two 'mounds' (breasts) above the cup, and the base of the cup are the buttocks of the female giving birth. The crown of the child being born is the bowl of the cup itself. You can make out a facial profile at the base of the bowl. This birth of the first god was pointed out to me by Catherine Acholonu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_Obianuju_Acholonu when I was requesting help with all my finds. This, in my opinion, is the origin of the holy grail, the tree of life, the royal blood line and ultimately, the emregence of heraldry (the bowl of the cup is the same shape as a knights shield which would depict the family line and we still see various forms of animal 'rampant' on either sides of these shields today).

This does not end here, there is a lot more and takes quite a bit of explaining as some sections of the art need to be verified by pieces you've already seen or are yet to see. This ancient art appears to also take you on a journey across the globe to things that blew my mind and, if you're mainstream inclined, seem to be impossible yet, somehow, I believe I have unlocked the art just as others were able to unlock ancient languages.

Here is one of the images I found on the surface of Earth after following hints and clues in the cave art. Again, we see a feline 'rampant'.. Yet this one can only be seen like this from 150kms ABOVE the surface.. And even this has its own further links and connections..

I hope that is enough to get the ball rolling. I look forwards to replies, thoughts, opinions and questions.

    thank you

    Whoa!

Baby steps. Your (first) post is very lengthy. Entice with a summary, please.

It does look like the work of more than that of simple cavemen. Your effort seems rigorous, and the post sparks interest in the cave art. Deserves a look.

Sorry about that.. Have been writing about this for three years now and sometimes a summary doesn't do it any justice as there is a lot to go over.
That said, I believe the art is the information that was to become the foundations of the ancient Egyptian and Sumerian cultures as well as the birth of hieroglyphics. Problem is, there are some very unusual external links that I found by reading the art and I could go on about it for hours.

It appears that some form of higher intelligence (for the time) either provided the knowledge as to how to create this art or created it themselves. This form of 'higher intelligence' may have actually revealed itself in the art, or was placed there by whoever created it.

Many people believe in an advanced civilization existing here thousands of years before our known history and this art may be that missing link between this ancient world and ours. Others believe in some form of ancient astronauts visiting Earth and helping, or creating, mankind whilst others think we all came from Mars..

Much of this has a habit of cropping up in this art in more ways than one!

I had, at first, thought that what I was seeing was just all coincidence, but the more I looked at it and the more I began to trust what I thought it was saying, the more I discovered and further connections were made.

As for this form of 'higher intelligence'... here he (it) is.. On the left is the original and on the right is the mirrored version (again, mirrored on the direct vertical)

One of my friends does marijuana, and is sure to get me stoned before playing an ANCIENT ALIENS flick. Otherwise, I'd sit there in conflict between politeness and agitation.

This is just one of the problems with all that I've found.. Whilst I was discussing the eye of Ra/Horus image, someone made a post that contained a very similar image. I'm 50/50 on the ancient alien thing.. Maybe it happened, maybe it didn't.. I'll need evidence one way or another. That said, there are some very interesting things going on that the cave art seems to point towards.

Here is an example set of the 'eye' images..
The upper left is from Chauvet. The beige one near bottom left is on the Earth's surface and seen from an approx height of 60kms. The top right is in the Cydonia region and approx 250 miles away from the famous 'face' on Mars.. The similarities in design are quite close. Quite a big coincidence if that is what it is..

There's more to this unusual humanoid figure as well. Leonardo da Vinci wrote in his notes that he had found a cave and wondered what was inside.. History then takes note that there are no records of his activities for about two years or so. Eventually when he came back on the scene, he began to create some of his most amazing works.. One of which included an image that someone found of a humanoid figure.. This figure was also mirrored on the direct vertical and, amazingly, has more than twelve comparable points to the Chauvet face.. So what, exactly, did he find in the cave that he found? Is there another set of artworks that is a replica of Chauvet? If you were going to leave a message, you wouldn't leave just one. you'd make sure others would find the same elsewhere in case the first was never found.

Well, I think something from say, SETI, would have more credence.

Maybe, but I've found it hard to be able to get to present all of this to anyone in a position to help verify, confirm or completely debunk. This is a mixed set of images that have various links and connections so the fields of study that it touches upon vary greatly which makes it even more difficult to get sorted out.

There's even a sealed jar, or vase, in the art that must have some reason for being there. It reminds me of the canopic jars the Egyptians used, but it also makes me think of Pandoras box (the correct translation is a sealed jar, not box) This is one of the reasons why i decided to post in this forum as I had been researching some places where I could present all of this and a few threads from here popped up in my search and there seemed to be a good balance of brains here

    Pareidolia is fun isn't it?

Seriously, your observations are simply drawing connections where none could possibly exist, except that the art is made by humans.

I didn't say it wasn't created by humans

And I'd like to know your reasons as to why these connections could not possibly exist..

Wrong era. And these coincidences can be better explained as being similar because the animals were similar, and it was people drawing them. Or in the case of your aerial photos, that's your brain doing pattern recognition. You spent three years at this bullshit?

I beg to differ on it being a 'wrong era'.
The Aboriginal people of Australia have passed on their knowledge and history by verbal story telling for 50,000 years. I believe the same has happened here.
The main group eventually became seperated tribes whose stories eventually differed slightly. One of these groups became the ancient Egyptians,

    another became the Sumerians.

Here we see the Sumerian tree of life compared to yet another 'similar' image in the cave art.

Yeah, I'm not a professional, but even I can see that your premise is nonsense. The residents of stone age France did not migrate to Egypt.

I read the messages the aliens leave in the clouds.
Well not really but you can see what I am trying to point out to you.
    Welcome by the way.
    Dont get carried away.
So often we get an idea and from then on everything seems to confirm it.
I dont know why but that happens.
Remain objective and take walks in the Sunshine.
I love cave art by the way.

I have to agree with the others, there isn't anything here. The connections are all in your mind.

    Let's start with:
We do not know who painted the cave walls, nor why.

Then all that follows is speculation and aesthetic appreciation.
Eye of the beholder. Mind of the beholder.

I suspect that isolated pictures of panels are wholly incapable of transmitting the aesthetic in its complexity and entirety.
It seems that there were later prehistoric visitors to the cave's painted chambers. By torchlight, wonders to behold. (I'd pay a dollar to know what was in the mind of the later visitor(s?)).
