Is there such thing as a 'good person' per say?
What characteristics would you say make somebody a good person?

I've never been told I was a bad person but have been called... deranged, psychotic, demented and mal adjusted , but never a bad person.

But sometimes people don't see that they are really nothing more than assholes, don't they?

 

Everyone can be an asshole you just have the see through it, men (including myself) can be the biggest assholes

 

Then again some never learn no matter what they do.:shrug:

What if your being an asshole for a good reason? (not that there is any good reason to be an asshole)

Absolute Good would be several orders of magnitude above where I am, or even at the moment of my birth.

Relatively, compared to a lot of people, I can be called good, but that is all it is, a label.

You two seem to confuse a person with humanity, or mankind, humankind, whatever floats your boat.

 

I have far too many faults to be called a 'good person'. I don't think there's anyone I know well who I haven't at some point intensely disliked. Plus I'm very self-absorbed, jealous, cowardly, tactless, judgemental, bitchy etc. etc.

I believe that good people are rare, so let's not cheapen the term.

 

You can have your faults and still be a good person.
