@ Thor: One moment! You missed out "What's your grade point average?" which is just your school average for this term, or from whenever you remember your marks average.

Glad to be of help.

1. Clarke, Asimov, Stephenson, Adams, Card, Dick, Robinson...
2. Hm. I hardly watch tv..but when i do, i like X-files, Farscape, TWILIGHT ZONE, Outer Limits (old AND new), Star Trek originals occasionally..
3. The past few weeks, i'd say... about 5 hours a day (i read during school...school is so boring), 6 days a week. So about 30 hours a week i guess.
4. My GPA is around a 4.3 i believe. We use a weighted grading scale, which means different level classes are worth more..or something. I dunno, i hate school, and don't much care for grades. I do well in my AP bio class though, i take pride in that. AP is..like IB.
5. Markwise, i do well in most things. I do exceptional in Spanish, Biology, and English (lit).
6. Fav subject, spanish. And biology. Love em both to death.
7. Depends. Sometimes i go weeks without reading, some weeks like the last 3 i do nothing but bury myself in books. So, on average, anywhere from 1-6.
8. Money wise? Every few months i'll go out and spend about 60 or 70 dollars (USD) on a nice stack of books.. 12 or 13 books, for the next two months or so. In loonies (haha..funniest currency name EVER) i guess that's like.. i dunno. I'm not even sure how much a loonie is worth (nothing, who buys crazy people? hahaha)
9. Asylum is to insanity as ocean is to scales. I rock at analogies.

Hope i helped!

6. Engrish.

7. Two or three, depending on how busy I am.

8. If I can't borrow them, then I buy them used... Probably about $7?

thanks dude

The results are in! Our (this is a project between my friend and I) project has concluded that sci-fi fans, on the average, are indeed more intelligent than non-sci-fi fans, based on grade averages and things that we asked you! Thank you for your surveys, Thor, Asguard, NenarT, CounslerC, Mech the Muon, and Val! Be glad that you have helped me and my friend towards a possible A!

That's pretty good to know, I'm off to the library to get lots of Sci-Foi books put, maybe that'll take up so much time I won't have to do homework

I kid!!

If it's not too late my grade average is a B at the moment, but that's only over three subjects

1. I don't read Sci-fi that much, but I suppose Douglas Adams is my favorite.

2. Stargate SG-1 and Firefly

3. Sci-fi? No idea. But if you include Fantasy it's about half an hour every night.

4. No idea. I'm a slacker so I don't really pay that much attention, I didn't even bother to get my grades last time. I only checked to see if I had failed anything and moved on.

5. Again, no idea. I think I did best on my CS exam during the last batch of testing.

6. The one that doesn't require any homework

7. Two? Three? Depends on the size of the books.

8. $30 a month? Somewhere in that area.

9. Asylum is to insanity as ocean is to drowning

It'll be ok, hang in there.

Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

I mean, look at me. I went from a 92.4% average to a lousy 82.3% this year. I got 72% in Bio, after getting 95% on a major test! I've failed my latest one, and it's only a matter of weeks before the report cards come home and I'll withdraw into a dark corner and break down.

I've never broken down before...wonder what it feels like? hmm...

Thanks for your reply, DCL! Unfortunately the project's over, but I like your analogy. Very provocative and original.
