I have had a disability since the age of twenty-seven when I nearly died from a rupturing cerebral haemorrhage and was operated on by one of the world's premiere neurosurgeons. Arteriovenous malformation - cerebral I've had more CAT scans and MRI's than I care to count. (Mostly just MRI's when I found out how terrible CAT's were for your health.) I've had Two Brain surgeries, one, "procedure" and one cyber-knife surgery. . . if you want to count that as a surgery or procedure or what ever. It has at once, altered my life, irrevocably, and yet, I believe has opened doors of perception not available to most. But, the old grey matter still operates when not in terrible pain, dispensing pearls of wisdom, and now immune to electro-magnetic radiation-brain washing technologies that come at most people through TV, radio, movies, etc. . . lol I feel like I have "woken up" after this whole experience. Not that I ever wanted to have it. It was nothing but hell. I can tell you some secrets about "Tinnitus" that have to deal with my disability, but none of you would believe me, tell me what I believe is unsubstantiated and woo woo, etc. so I'll just leave it at that.
