Decoding the Future: Juan Enriquez I found this is an intriguing introduction to, and overview of the promise of genomics. The host website, TED is a welcome alternative to crappy cable-TV science porn, with much more interesting content to feast on. I'm torn about which forum to post this in, because I'm personally interested in the sociological implications. Enriquez' observations on the global balance of genomic literacy, and the possible implications of that surprised me. If discussion blossoms in that direction, maybe we can spin this off into whirled events too. On the biology side, I was awed to learn about the curious life forms that Juan Enriquez introduces his audience to. He delivers a fun lecture- check it out.
