No, thats why its vital to spread the word.
So why is it his fault if he wasn't reached?
The Bible says if a man rejects Jesus Christ he goes to hell. The African guy is safe. He goes to Heaven because he has not heard/rejected.
so why let him know at all? because of your obligation?
What if the African man aspires to find truth in life, but doesn't find the Christian god. Doesn't the Bible say that those who seek truth will find Jesus?
where's that passage? so if he didn't "find" Jesus does that mean he wasn't seeking the truth?
That's what I was asking. I don't know where the passage is, but I've seen it quoted before(I believe on these forums).
They should have tried harder. /
jews dont believe in hell.
Now this is interesting. Seriously.
What classes as having "heard"? Merely being told by someone who believes or, as I've heard many Christians say, they had a personal revelation/ epiphany and "heard"?
He is [all his life] told in his "cult" that "it's" the truth.
Why should he even feel he has to seek anything else?
false, they do, I have Jewish friends, of course they do!
Jesus TOOK it from ( http://ohr.edu/ask_db/ask_main.php/132/Q2/ What in the World is the World to Come? Although there is a Jewish concept of 'heaven' and 'hell,' we nevertheless emphasize this world) Judaism, Don't forget that!
Then he is deluding himself.
great reply, what constitues by one "hearing" & even "seing" is not necessasirly so by all mankind.
Aren't we all (mostly) influenced by "what we are being told" (since childhood)?
Yes, thats the trick. to overcome indoctrination.
Without anyone [from outside hist cult] "opening his eyes"?
Unles he wants to go to hell.
