At least eight people have been killed in a car bomb attack near the Danish embassy in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, according to reports.

More than a dozen people were wounded. An embassy worker was among those killed

"I of course condemn this attack. It is terrible that terrorists commit such acts," he told Danish TV.

Well it had to come sooner or later, the cartoon bombers will not be easy to find in pakistan, what next the teddy bear revenge attacks on the UK for there outrage of calling a teddy bear mohammed.

This is what the terrorists want, a more rightward swing in Europe. This should get the radical right into the centre. Next, Fascism will be considered right wing, and conservatism left.
That way, they'll have more excuses for people to join their cause. So, both sides are headed down the path of total annihilation and there are no cooler heads in sight.

Nahhh .... take it easy guys , not likely any rightwing swing will come out of this in Denmark ........
The danish intelligence warned about this in the start of april ..... many danish embassies were evacuated .... and later moved to secret addresses in muslim countries ..... the danish embassy in Islamabad , was reinforced to withstand bombattacks ........ it still look sort of intact on the videos today .....
Unfortunately some local securityguards and a pakistani cleaning assistent were killed ....they were probably outside ....... and the neighbouring houses were damaged ..........
Here in Denmark, we are aware , that this is the work of fanatic muslim terrorists ...... no need to make a rightwing fascist swing here ....so ease up ...........

The danish muslim council condemns the attack , saying they are shocked with detest and horror ... and calling it an unjustified act of cruelty ..... it might come as a surprise for some here .... but in general the relation between muslims and non-muslims got better here after the cartoon crisis .... both parts got to scream and yell a little ... and it sort of cleared the air .....:m:

6 dead 30 injured, i am only glad the danes realised the threat in this country & obviously took precautions.

Pakistan has thousands of taliban living there & on top of that they have there own tribal radicals who are on the same wave length as the taliban.

I think no embassy or foreign national is safe in pakistan, if they cant even protect there leaders, what chance does anyone else have.

The only way pakistan will ever change is if there dumb ass government takes on the tribal leaders & all these crazy rabid dog madrasses, nearly every single uk bombers originate from pakistan.

The terroists took over pakistan a long time ago, musharaff has been attacked about 3 times, mostly with army insider knowledge to the terroists, & the recent killing of there future lady prime minister just shows what a radical out of control country it is becoming.

Religions often time drive their believers to do stupid things. When you believe in a religion that teaches that all other religions are wrong and that they are inherently "evil" and that their adherents are "unworthy", then the next logical step is violence. Coalition forces using airstrikes (read, sitting at safe distance and pressing buttons to kill people) have been killing people on a regular basis next door in Afghanistan. About 55 of them killed over the last couple of days alone. They cannot identify or count teh bodies, but they can clearly make out they are "insurgents". So yeah, everyone is sharing in the "peace" there.
