Doctor Who is the oldest Sci-Fi show to date, and it's still running, proves how it's leagues ahead of Star Trek.
Actually they've been levitating since a serial in the late 80s IIRC. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
You know I was fairly sure they had. (Lost track of Dr. Who for a number of years). So why was The Ecc so surprised? Plot hole?
Wasn't that American movie was it? I confess that after the Fourth I stopped watching for a while. It just wasn't the same.
Eccleston was not the one on the stairs. The Dalek was pursuing Rose Tyler, and she was running with some "genius" kid (Adam) that the American billionaire (Henry van Statten) was using to catalog alien artifacts and a female soldier. At the time, the Doctor was in van Staten's office trying to seal the base to trap the Dalek inside. The moment is around 4:00 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E73s1WkEOyw&NR=1
no that was Adam, who said: Adam "stairs!, its got no legs! Now your stuck! it cant get up!" *extranious stuff by the solder* Dalek "EVIVATE!"
He didn't seem surprised by the shields either, which is strange as they never used to have those. If we go back far enough we find they actually use a puff of smoke to kill people. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Sorry, natural assumption. Just to be sure that it's only a flesh wound, perhaps I should do the shooting. And some kind of garden implement that appears to be sticking its tongue out.
One Dalek ship > 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 Borg cubes, if only they had that many drones let alone ships!
Damn. I've just got through S1 of the 'new' Dr.Who series. And now, I have to change my vote to the Daleks, for sure. I'm just at S2 Ep4 "The Girl in the Fireplace", and enjoying the show immensely. I have to say though, this Tennant guy isn't even half as good as the Ecclestone guy.
