The creators don't care about their games any more. The campaign AI is terrible and so is the battle AI (but not as completely idiotic as the campaign AI, for example the AI will declare war on you by trying to siege a city with an army consisting of 2 ballistas and if you manage to get a ceasefire with them it will just declare war on you the next turn, even if you're the most powerful nation on earth and it only has 1 city) and the battles (if you're lucky enough to get anything apart from ANOTHER siege) are about 20 seconds of fighting and 10 minutes of chasing routers. It's as if they didn't even bother to playtest it. It feels like they just treated it like something that had to be out the door by a certain date. Then on top of that there's all the hollywood crap like flaming arrows which are just a joke.

The original MTW's campaign still feels more complex and challenging.

Well, thanks for the insight. I shall not waste 49 Euro on that.

The last game I bought was actually medieval total war (first version) because I had once again lost the CD. It's already the third time I bought it.

I haven't bought a game that came out in the last 3 years or so. The most recent game bought was probably GTA/vice city. That's because experience taught me that it is not worth buying anything made nowadays.

I left that detail out, it would have been too close to reality.

You are a cheap bastardo then the entire game costs like $20. The "thwunk" sound of an arrow hitting an enemys' head is sooo satisfying.

    eh...not really.
    its a point/click fantasy game.
its pretty fun for mindless killing. it is extremely fun multiplayer, but kinda bland single player.

I've been playing X3 Since I never completed it the first time round, one thing had lead to another back then and I ended up doing something else with my time. None the less when I reinstalled I found that Egosoft had brought out an official update that added a new "Bali Gi" mission for players to do to own their own Headquarters space station, so it gained new content too.

Problem is my whole setup is like Minimum specs, so something flying through a sector with a massive space complex built by yours truly is like looking at a slideshow.

On the XBOX 360 side (Which is sat gathering dust for the past couple of weeks) I'm actually hooked up to Phatasy Star Universe as I tend to try the MORPG's out once and a while.
