Creating a "Chase" robot

    I don't know if this has been mentioned but setting up an array of long-range IR sensors in your yard mght be a cheaper (and more effective) solution for detecting and locating the intruder.
    I wonder about how well any system could work. wouldn't cats, squirls and birds get used to the robot(s)? I think a good fence would be more practical. But it's an interesting project nevertheless.
    Are you planning to market this?
