You think he made a good point. How active have you been? followed any of my threads? Seen how he comes in there and starts spouting religion? The fact of the matter is that I didnt come into the science church and start disrespecting science. I fully agree with the scientific method, its him who doesn't. I've been around here for years and never once mentioned GOD, about a month ago there was a post from paddo spouting anti-religious delusions, so I challenged it. Saying GOD was the keyword that triggered his OCD and now he stalks me with anti-religious babble. Every time I post no matter the topic he posts some of his religious enticement to provoke me to respond. The fact is he created the monster.

I was always respectful up till recently, I've lost my patience and defend myself now with disrespect against these fools.
You cant present or talk about anything on here without being insulted, the ones who claim they know, know nothing and dont even know how the science method works. Take the idiot bruce for example, he thinks that asking questions shows weakness. Not that I think he's capable of asking any relevant questions.

"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity." -Albert Einstein

You cant present anything and if you do the noobs go bonkers.
I appreciate him posting science and have no problem with that. When I see problems or dont understand something I speak up and they dont like that, not one bit!

Im not anti-science, never have been. You are more like anti-science. I want to see science progress not stay stagnant as you will see it left in your little comfort zone.

And why are the majority of your threads in the crank/fringe sections?
All I do, much to yours and of course "the gods"annoyance, is reveal the hidden closeted agenda that both of you have approached this forum with.
And while you dispute the logic and reasonability of the scientific method, and replace it with your crank nonsense, and god driven agenda, I'll keep on exposing you for what you are.
    Don't like that? Tough titty!
I'll leave the "message" of your posts in general for all to see and realise that what you claim is false and the exact opposite is the fact.
And of course, I did believe you were an adult.
Respectful to who? or to what? Science? This is first and foremost a science forum my friend:
    http://www.sciforums.com/threads/is-the-higgs-particle-a-process.154082/
    http://www.sciforums.com/threads/gravitational-curve-field-reconfiguration.153013/
    http://www.sciforums.com/threads/gravity.149945/page-2
The above three all from pseudoscience: I'm not really sure if any of those three contain your grandest thoughts of all concerning c+v nonsense you have been pushing with great enthusiasm. [can't be bothered to check: ho hum]
Except the real idiots here are those that have the agenda I speak of many times, coupled with the malady of delusions of grandeur, and their usual efforts to inflame and enrage those on a science forum, that just so happen to be interested in real science. Just as you do and are so adept at, [enrage science by promoting pseudoscience] and then you squeal like a stuffed pig when you are revealed.

And yes of course you are allowed to discuss and propose any nonsense you like, in the appropriate sections, but just as appropriate is the undeniable fact, that what you propose will be fully dissected and critiqued. But that simple exercise appears to enrage you.
Curiosity is what drives science, and what drove Einstein: Curiosity without any burden of a fucking stupid religious agenda!

You present anti science, or anything else you believe may inflame: When you get what you desire, you scream blue murder.

Your questions are not driven by curiosity, they are agenda driven to either deride or invalidate some aspect of science: Your crazy c+v stands as a testament to that fact.

And yet you promote your c+v nonsense?
The comfort zone you speak of is the reasonable logical application of the scientific method and peer review.
That of course bugs you and others that are so troubled with trying to uphold that which is continually failing and being pushed into oblivion.

By choice because they're ideas in their initial phase. Part of how the scientific method works.
So any scientist that believes in GOD is automatically got a hidden agenda?
What "message" that you are a crank that cant dispute things like the c + v logically and just say its incorrect? go ahead go there and show how you can...
heres the link to make it easier for you

as for the rest of your post, I'll just say that you are a coward.

From what I know, most scientists that believe in god, still trust the scientific method and are not out to inflame on a science forum.
You are not a scientist, and obviously you do have an agenda.
The constant nature of the speed of light has been evidenced beyond any doubt and that has been put to you many times, yet you still rage, insult and stamp your feet in dictatorial and childish fashion. And no, I'm not going to your link again, but thanks for supplying it.

Do better Bds, starting with dropping the hypocrisy and insults.

So go there and show why the experiments are not showing only c, its all there its easy for you go then and disqualify it. I could easily do it, but can you?

Well then what are you doing here! Write up a scientific paper and get it appropriately peer reviewed: The next Physics Nobel could be yours. [tic mode most certainly on]
And no, I'm not going to your link, as I know what you have claimed has already been refuted.
The only problem is that you will not accept that...and that's certainly your problem.

So you know where the material that disproves it could you please lead me to it?
I will if its logically consistent.

See? This is what a religious agenda will do...
I'm not leading you anywhere Bds: Go back to your thread and review the answers and advice you have been given, and try being really logically consistent.

Dear BdS you said "I was always respectful up till recently, I've lost my patience and defend myself now with disrespect against these fools.".
May I suggest you ignore a personalised attack and rely on your content.
Maybe a personal attack is driven by content of your post.
Maybe you are being tested to see if you can grasp the real issues or if you focus on an insult.
Why worry about insults if they have nothing to do with the issue.
I think there is virtue in the turn the other cheek approach.
    Have a great day.

    And dear BdS
C+v as a mere idea presents as a complete rejection of relativity.
I suggest raising it here would be equivalent to shouting out to the Pope that there is no God. Now for me I find no God but I am not about to tell the Pope.
Do you understand the significance of C in relativity if you dont please look into it if you do it could be asked why present such a view here on a science forum unless you have the goods to establish a sound case.
Having presented your idea realise that with the replies there will be good answers. How you acknowledge those answers will have bearing upon the flow of insults I suspect.

One more thing BdS you said.
" Take the idiot bruce for example, he thinks that asking questions shows weakness. "
I think bruce is a gentleman.
I asked him a somewhat flipant question above and yet he politely replied.
So I must protest you calling him an idiot as my experience has been most pleasant.

Asking questions around here is an admittance that you don't know the answer. Since most the discussion centers around crank bullshit admitting you don't know something is contrived as a weakness by scientific illiterate cranks. That's the way it is. Unfortunately. Secondly there isn't many physics and math experts to ask. Excluding rpenner of course. When I first joined this forum there were three young physic PH.D and Trippy of course. I don't know where his formal training ended. Didn't matter since he was a wealth of information for the members. The peanut brain who said that about me hasn't asked a coherent question yet. The link in the original post was a scientific illiterate statement that he linked to show his ass. The author was showing his ass in public. The dumb ass.

I gather few disturbing things about you from your subsequent posts. You seem to be unduly siding with few people and attempting to preach others..

You, Paddoboy & Brucep should consider yoursleves lucky, that this forum (or rather internet) gives you people some opportunity to learn and interact with educated people. All three of you admittedly lack formal education, so this is a boon for people like you.

    Dear TG
I would say there would be many members who may say that I have been too polite in my dealing with you.
I am uneducated to a high level in cosmology and indeed I am happy that this site exists because umongst the messages I find things to learn.
But in spite of the lack of a degree in astrophysics, pure mathmatics or cosmology I can read and so something filters thru.
You alude to having a decent education.
May I ask what career you follow and how many degrees you have under your belt.
Where have you obtained the knowledge and education you would have me believe my position is inferior to yours.
Your claim that I preach to others may be valid but not my intention so I will take your observation on board.
I certainly do not want to present as a preacher I want to be known as someone who is here to learn and not preach.
If you have a comment that I could support, well I would, if I thought you needed support and your view was supportable. I find it some what easy to support the positions taken by brucep and paddoboy simply because their proposals fit science.
If my anti religious comments have offended you I am sorry as I hold that anothers belief is their business.
In any event have a great day.
