Anthony says covid vaccine will be ready in 2021

    point A
    amount of vaccine needed
    point B
the need for increased vaccine production to manage the off set of the required seasonal flu vaccine production and distribution

    Logistically
we are looking at doubling the existing vaccination rate globally during the middle of a global recession

    meanwhile ..
    conventionally
MORE standard Flu vaccines will be required by people to minimize risk from catching both the Flu & Covid

pure guess would say around a 25% increased total number of annual Flu vaccinations required

(And another wingnut reveals their unfamiliarity with such advanced concepts in epidemiology as exponential growth and lag time and low density of vulnerable disease hosts. )

In densely populated regions with lots of people who travel and lots of attractions for people from the main viral sources - predominantly Europe, for the US, although New York City also showed evidence of domestic sources as yet unknown.

Don't worry - the Rep States, cities, and people, have learned nothing at all by having months of advance warning and seeing the mistakes of others. They are incapable of learning from others, see - until it happens to them, they won't know anything about it except what the Republican media feed hands them. So they're sitting ducks - they'll catch up very soon.
Which makes their support of the best and funniest political comedians a bit mysterious, no?

Just listened to Sam Seder's recent call-in interview with David Feldman. The lefties in have been a bit down for a while - one of their funny guys (there are dozens, Michael Brooks was kind of bluecollar - knew everybody, did imitations and fart jokes, whipsmart) died recently and suddenly and a bit mysteriously (afaik nobody knows if covid was involved or not) - so Feldman's approach seemed kind of what some folks needed to shake off and get up.
Here's an older one with both Brooks and Feldman present:
    And yesterday's, can't find an edit - it's in there: https://majorityreportradio.com/2020/07/31/7-31-casual-friday-w-digby-david-feldman
"leftist/Democrat bias"? More goofy shit from the Republican bubble. If that leftist bubble only wingnuts can see is unavoidable, how come you guys never know what lefties are saying and doing? You even confuse leftists with "self-identified" Democrats, for pity's sake - can't get much more out of touch with the leftist bubble than that.

    Metro Melbourne. 02/08/2020
    State of disaster declared.
An unprecedented 8pm-5am Curfew is in place.
1st night tonight and the first time a curfew in Australia.
    Level 4 lock down.
It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow ....

One thing that has become blatantly clear is that once community transmission is evident contact tracing and other methods of tracking and containment are seriously ineffective.

The Melbourne "bubble" has and is providing an excellent test case for the Governments strategy for reopening the economy and it has failed terribly.

The high levels of incapacitation/deaths of health workers, doctors and nurses etc. Indicates that that the level of PPE use is insufficient.

With the loss of qualified health professionals the resultant skill drain, over time, will generate enormous problems and inevitably lead to poorer outcomes in the short to intermediate term.

new york is so big with so many different economy inside the one economy
there is always going to be illegal workers in all economy's and they tend to either be very well looked after with free medical
or not looked after at all with no medical
best intentions wont stop the virus and money comes before people in a capitalist society
so no one is going to raise their hand to help the virologists out for tracking and risk being done for tax evasion

can it be transported inside illegal animals parts ?
    pets ?
    food products ?

could a cargo handler catch it off a pet, then pass it on to their team mates while the pet is in quarantine, then pass it on to other air port workers ?
    of coarse
and its 85% asymptomatic with a 2 week incubation

while all the rich people problems are whining about their lost profit margins
the fact covid_19 is not more deadly is just pure good luck

USA has failed(the big ticket because they had all the people doing all the planning with germ warfare for decades and didn't use that technology or science they spent trillions researching TRILLIONS !!!)
Italy has failed(not surprising considering the fence jumpers from the middle east, & the refugees and the massive tourism based economy and the average age of their older population
and their social customs of being very close to each other, (hugging and kissing is normal)[perfect storm]
Spain has failed much like Italy

China, we simply don't know & probably wont know ever & that is an exercise is futility trying to waste scientists time by trying to force them to become politicians.

i don't see any politicians trying to study science(except for a tiny minority which are already mostly ignored by the media & painted as some type of American Republican anti-christ)

    south east asia
    tropical rain forests
    korea china
    forests
its likely in animals in those areas

    note
great leap forwards/ evolutionary leaps, intellectual leaps
while some are singular, others are multi occurrence
if it is a evolutionary process of the virus then it is likely to mutate in other places.
anywhere where people have been living with it for a similar number of years(100 or more etc[no real idea of the required number of years)

Obviously a level 4 lock down is unsustainable over long periods for economic and psychological reasons, however with out a vaccine there is little alternative.

i wont say enough to give away information
a small part of my job is monitoring compliance to track and trace compliance
so i know how resistant different types of people are to engage and give proper information
who trys to avoid giving any information
    behaviors of touching things
    what is touched
    etc etc

when you look at the breaches in Aussie of the quarantine laws, the reactive process of the public
it paints a very clear picture of the nature of their compliance process
while some have the ever best of intentions
many simply think it is rich(dainty sterile baby syndrome of hyper sensitive people over reacting) peoples problems which does a good job selling to American conspiracy theorists

generally unlike the message being promoted int he media
i think Aussies Care, but i think THEY think they can get over Covid and so it wont do much.
their grasp of the knock on effect to over crowd hospitals tends to ignored by the average person in most cultures.

and the reality of the demand on the existing system to provide the basic Flu vaccine to those same high risk people whom need the covid vaccine is probably not really featuring in the minds of those in control
they need a kick up the ass(slap in the face to wake them up/rude awakening)

    meanwhile
the filthy little trolls are hoarding their tax payer billions into their own companys and trying to steal all the candy from the other kids and pile it in a corner
and then playing media word games

Apparently the latest outbreak in Vietnam involves a new more virulent strain...and suggests that the virus is evolving much more quickly than anticipated. ( the ABC news article reporting this has since disappeared) so credibility factor 6/10.

i was trying to avoid the issue because of the political games and rich peoples problems making working class people suffer for their rich people problems
    however
    as above
jungle, hundreds of years of close contact
    ideal breeding ground
highly mobile interactive children with high mortality rate to push to virus to evolve faster
    african swine flu
Chinese tourist money/investment(touchy subject im not talking about)
cultural medicines and lack of testing of 1st world medical

china probably needs to install small field hospitals to do ongoing testing and having the samples flown back to china for testing and cataloging

USA current administration has pulled all its medical aid from most countrys

So Americans are becoming more intelligent ? More informed ?

    Covid-19 has proven otherwise .

[{( great thread idea, is modern technology making americans dumber)}]

    LoL !

the push from the alt right in the USA is anti science
    anti evolution
it is a culture and a subject more aligned with psychological anthropology in models of collective political ideologies
not really a subject of virology as a class of comparative dynamic intellect evolution
as worthy as it may be for a subject of discussion
it has no real ability to define a positive or negative gain in the current situation given the massive diversity and opposition to science in general by USA culture(in varying normalizing groups[conspiracy theorists, survivalists, alt-right republican rich etc etc])

equally likely this has (accidentally or negligently)been brought into the country from somewhere else

only the megga rich get tested in Vietnam and that is probably only for western life and medical insurance pay outs.
what use is a test for a dead person if they are still dead

the country is living hand to mouth

Vietnam gains income hard currency from tourism
it would make economic sense for them to not release covid19 test results
    USA has effectively abandoned them

for them it is about survival

    not surprising

the lead editors will be cautious about reporting things that may not yet be scientifically verified by more than 1 lab
and or be a news item put out by a media outlet rather than an official government or official lab public release.

The American People for the most part are selfish .

your question lacks specificity to provide an answer

    all people are selfish
selfishness is a required trait of the human condition to feed its self
    without selfishness
    the human dies

you need to add some form of relative comparative terms to engage in a logical discussion about the differences in anthropological culture variants of cultural diversity of human social traits as a collective culture or group
and that is anthropology NOT virology

The non-sequitar nature of your post suggest that you have not realized the ABC link I provided is for the Australian National Broadcaster and does not refer to to the American situation ( in context)
