Many people here have common ideas about mass and energy...

    LIGHTBEING:
    "The Laws of the "Universe"

    "EveryTHING is energy!
All matter is energy. AnyTHING with mass, everyTHING with mass, is noTHING more than energy."

    KneD:
    "Why does light bend?"

"since we know an electron, with mass, is in fact some sort of energy package, creating a wave, it came up to me, it is rather similar to a photon, and nothing more than energy.

So, I am convinced of the idea, that if we 'unpack' mass more and more, we will finally see that mass is not more then locked up energy, in this form, energy is able to create 'gravity-fields'."

    botchi:
"the universe is inside you and your surroundings"

"did you ever think that the stars are nothing more than electrons, protons and neutrons?and that the universe that we live in is nothing more than an atom in another world that is 90000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
000000000times larger than our own?and that every atom in universe is made up of electrons ,neutrons and protons which are stars in a universe that is 90000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times smaller than ."

    You guys are awesome...

Seeker, what are you getting at?
Are you again going to confuse the physical term "energy" with the NewAge-"it's so cool to be Zen"-vague notion of "energy"?

    Hi Seeker,
I believe I have pointed out earlier that the physical word "energy" has a totally different meaning than it has in a NewAge context. If I recall correctly you even replied.

Unfortunately there are many who are confused. Writers like Deepak Chopra and Fritjof Capra fuel the confusion.

It is very true that science and spirituality do not conflict. On the other hand, nor do they support eachother. But when one tries to mix them, inconsistencies will start to pop up evereywhere. And that is just what is happening in your posts.

Hey, I can imagine you do (in fact, for I while I did the same), it is a result of a psychological process called the confimation bias. And the stronger one feels to be not understood, the stronger the cofirmation bias will be.

    take care,
    Merlijn

    Truthseeker,

Does any of that actually mean anything?

Nelson says; How was I suppose to know?
Tyler says; Oh I don't know nelson, maybe by reading?

Let's take a poll. Who thinks my comment means 'Nelson doesn't know English' and who thinks it means 'Nelson has not read what is here'

Then we'll see who knows English.

You were ambiguous... and it was in another thread.

No, anyone who speaks English at above a grade 3 level would realize that my sentance does in no way imply what you think it did.

It's like interputing - some fish are blue, some blue things can fly to me that therefore all fish can fly.

And I in no way am hijacking your thread. I am coming to the defence of a sane human being from one who cannot comprehend the basics of English grammar.

And by the way, if anything I was not ambiguous, my comment was ambiguous. Are you taking extra English lessons yet?

    Yup, French.
What's the point of your question?

"Nelson says; How was I suppose to know?
Tyler says; Oh I don't know nelson, maybe by reading?

Let's take a poll. Who thinks my comment means 'Nelson doesn't know English' and who thinks it means 'Nelson has not read what is here'

Then we'll see who knows English."

Can I get someone to answer this? Besides Xev, who obviously knows english and already backed me up on this one.
