"Classical" Writing Equipment

I am looking for a place that sells good quality reproductions of antique Lap Desks, Writing Boxes, Writing Slopes, Fountain Pens, Ink Wells etc.

Ideally, I would like to visit the place in person (NYC area), but an online store in the US that will ship in less than a week will work fine.

I am looking for stuff in the quality and price range of this stuff but a place with a larger selection.

My girlfriend is quitting her job and spending the next two months writing before she goes back to school.

I am looking for a nice little "Welcome Home" gift.

THESE are stunning examples (especially this one) but I am not prepared to spend that much on an original Victorian Writing Box just yet.

I would like to be able to actually look at them and buy one in person, but her last day at work is about a week away and I am getting desperate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ebay have 145 examples of Lap Desk currently. And 38 examples of Antique Lap Desk. And 90+ examples of Writing Box and 20 examples of antique writing box. Have you looked there?

She definitely is worth it.

I know time is running out.
I may have to bite the bullet and get it from Ebay.
It's a shame, because there is NOTHING you can't find in NYC, you just need to know WHERE to find it, and I am having no luck searching the web for a place that has them.
Maybe I will hit the antique district on Monday morning and hope for the best.
