your not a christian your a religious fanatic who has in your own mind thrown out 2000 years worth of christian theological growth and discussion because it doesn't conform to what you think while at the same time echoing the most vile sections of the christian faith.

It's horrific and outrageous some things can't just be passed off as stupidity. Not when one is doing something like this knowingly. For believers even delving into matters like these can make one susceptible to sinning.

    Ja'far,

A few posts I wouldn't mind hearing your opinions on. These are more or less just an idea of what you think so there's really no need to look anything up.

So? If we're going to be humble then we should both concede that either one, or even neither one, of our positions are true.

Do you also concede that I may be correct? That there may NOT be a God. Mohammad may not have existed. The Qur'an is just a continuation of Biblical narrative written by men and men alone.

Could it possible that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community are considered heretics because of their ideas that Revelation from Allah has been communicated to humans AFTER the death of Mohammad AND that this is indeed why they are attacked and murdered by people in their own society?

    Stop calling them ‘heretics’

Do you think that this one meme: The idea of White Racial superiority, could possibly have a HUGE affect on the way people taught to think this would see the whole of humanity - it could affect the way some people view all aspects of their life?

I know bigots, I'd say yes it can.

I'm wondering: Why is it, do you think, that although the Chinese built Mosques for Muslims in the Capital of China, Muslims never reciprocated and built Buddhist Temples for Chinese Buddhists in Baghdad?

Well, do you? Why or Why not?

This is so moronic it's laughable. Christians don't war my ass. Funny how this "true," Christian and "not true," Christian shit is a valid argument for you and is used when convienant but yet, if this is even suggested in reference to Islam then it's invalid and folly. How fucking convienant for you.

You are the very last person who should try to bring up not addressing textual examples. I gave you a bunch and yet, that apparently means nothing to you and you are content to hate something you know nothing about and consider it evil. If you want to have a debate about Islam we can certainly do so, I would be more than happy to show just how much of an ignorant jackass you truly are.

Being a Mason is not a religion. My grandfather was one, it's just a bunch of old men that do good public works and probably hang around drinking and watching strippers.

Being humble is not equivalent of being numb in the brain or giving up one's serious beliefs as two individuals hold opposite positions on the same topic.

You know Ja'far, out of the upteen million Muslims that have visited this site, you're one of only a handful who logically answered this question. Even SAM in the end simply refused to answer stating she was Muslim. As if that was an issue? Although, to be fair, she was turning to the dark side of the force - probably her Jedi Msater pulled her back from tasting the power of the Sith

... anyway, I even made the point: I'm not asking what you believe, but what may be possible, and yet most people just can't mentally step over that line. Which is interesting. Fear of pissing off God I suppose? What else could it be? Even Big Chiller's first reaction is to shut down those mental faculties?

    Anyway, carry on......

Do I need to post links to articles about how Christians are treated in some Muslim countries? How many Catholic churches and Mormon temples do they have in Saudi Arabia? The respect that Muslims claim to have for Christianity and Judaism often goes right out the window when they're running the show.

Not a valid comparison, since the Nazis were a political party in charge of a country. I don't agree with book burnings, but there's a HUGE difference between a book burning by the government and one by a private organization.

So you think that this justifies the hatred that some Muslims have for the West? In that case, doesn't the abuse that non-Muslims receive in some Muslim countries justify hatred for the Islamic world? Have you seen the recent issue of Time magazine? Would all the women of the world be justified in hating Islam because of it?

EDIT: I'd also like to point out that the "Draw Mohammed Day" wouldn't have happened if a whole lot of Muslims hadn't been so butt-hurt about a certain newspaper exercising a certain right to freedom of speech.

Isn't he? He was talking about conceding specifically about the existence of God that He might not exist and equated that with the existence of Xenu (something imaginary).

But I did use my mental faculties I've already told you twice that God's existence is not a mere possibility. There is an entity apart from all possible entities Who is intrinsically necessary in His existence call Him what you like but this entity is God.

No, personal beliefs isn't what is being discussed. He was asking do I think that I could possibly be wrong and that he could possibly be right. Intellectually there is no reason why this can't be so and it says nothing about my own personal beliefs. I believe with my whole heart that there is one God, that Muhammad (saw) is His messenger and that Islam was His message however intellectually I must also admit that I could possibly be wrong even if I don't believe or think I am. I fully believe that I (and by extension Islam) am right.

You could be wrong with your intuitions but how can you be wrong on a belief that's exactly according to scripture after believing in this scripture to be the source of certain knowledge.

Then, you aren't being intellectual at all, you're just a believer using blind faith. Indoctrinated, most likely. Sad that you would equate your psychotic belief system to anything remotely intellectual. LOL!

Which is why it is unacceptable for either faiths.

At some point in time we have to call it like we see it and declare that a faith is what its practitioners do.

How bizarre a faith isn't what it's practitioners does but people are what they do.

The main purpose of religion is to attempt to regulate the morals and behaviour of it's followers if it can't do that then it is a failure.
