well how did you go at answering the questions in the OP?
And if you aren't Christian tell us what you are and how you relate to the other religions?

The correct term is, in fact, "Abrahamism," since they all regard Abraham as their first prophet. Rasta also belongs to this group, and possibly Baha'i, although I have yet to meet anyone who can describe it clearly enough to make that decision.

And then of course there are the Christians who insist that the Mormons are not Christians. I wonder if they'd count them as Abrahamists?

Maybe you need to have second thoughts about that sand and the head stuck in it.

    Yes most certainly I am.....
You need to remember, science solves mysteries and gives answers based on observations.
Science isn't into adopting magical deities or fairies at the bottom of a garden or pixies to answer questions.
And finally, science really doesn't deal in proofs.

Yes, which is excellent grounds for certainty!

    Oh, and this:

If you're going to use idioms/analogies from nature, then at least try not to use urban myths, you know, you wanting to be scientific and all that. Ostriches don't put their heads in the sand.
But then again, you don't deal in proofs, eh?!

To the OP: It looks like you're not going to get many replies to your question.

Do the things that happen around me inspire you to look into it further?

If I just tell my girlfriend and she says "Oh that's weird" and I ask her "should I tell anyone" and she "says no don't bother them". No! Next time if I can get a premonition I will do something to see if I can save lives, not just be fobbed off and smothered by an unbeliever.

Oh my, such pedant! It's a figure of speech or a metaphor.
Quite funny you see the need to raise it though.....

In that case, you're in the domain of flying pigs, given that pigs have wings and all beings with wings can fly.

Quite funny that you permit into your language idioms that are referring to a myth. I would think someone who is into science would do better than that!

Methinks you have a problem...best of luck with it.

You probably havn't heard of similar idioms by reputable scientists such as Clarke, Kaku, and Feynman....You need to actually lighten up, maybe take a Disprin and have a good lay down?

    Confucius says:
"A pig farmer on the way to market, would have to wait a long time before a flying pig dropped into his barrow."
