Sorry. I didn't see this post 'till today, Raven.

You were gone for some of the mass changes that were instituted in the WE&P subfora.

Most of the posts that existed (at that time) and that were about two months old were closed. I didn't write a long winded explanation as to why because of the updates posted at the top of the subforum.

However, in other matters where threads are closed, I will endeavor to provide a more satisfying explanation.

I was thinking you and String could battle it out with those Star Trek dumbbell-axe thingies. Two men enter! one man gets a shot of trioxalene and passes out. What happens next is probably only suitable for cable.

 

Sorry to dissappoint, but String has again defused the situation- pacifically, platonically, like a gentleman and a scholar.

However, I direct your attention to my initiative to combine all Israel and Palestine threads into one, close all other associated threads with only a boilerplate explanation (with a link to the Sight Administration) and only allow a new thread on the general subject if the conversation in the Great Nakba thread takes an important turn. I am taking no initiative on this initiative until members take the initiative in letting me know who will praise me, and who will prefer inserting, and twisting sleek daggers into my back.
