Regardless I can't blame these people for this. I can however blame them on the boy cried wolf principle. Dangerous experiments should be critisized but on mathematical and economics grounds not pure emotion
But just don't dismiss them so lightly with the 'cried wolf' thing. Their actions HAVE most certainly created doubt and worry in the minds of thousands of people across the globe. Fear-mongering is NEVER a good thing.
Agreed. BUT if it wasn't for the Chicken Littles running around crying wolf, the media would have had nothing to report on - so who is the REAL culprit here? The ones who take the stuff and spin it or the ones who started it all in the first place?? Granted, both share the blame - but the larger share of it goes to the original perpetrators.
