Cats use simple physics to find prey

    Experiments by researchers at Kyoto University in Japan suggest cats have rudimentary understanding of the principle of cause and effect as well as some elements of physics.
    During the series of experiments, cats shown they use hearing and a basic understanding of physics to anticipate the presence of unseen objects, i.e. where their prey hides.
