Saw a Techron ad which made me wonder can cars be designed that act like air filters, cleaning more air than they pollute as they go...without needing double the amount of fuel...? Surely it's possible by now????

It doesn't say where it removes it to. If this material takes in any amounts of CO2 then it has to get rid of this build up eventually so where does it go to?

An electric car that has no emissions could be designed to include an air filter, but the plant that generates electricity is probably powered by coal, so it's a net loss anyway.
