What do you all think about capitalism and communism. What system could work best under what circumstances. What system do you prefer?
Absolutism in either direction has proven unworkable. Absolutist terminology and binary thinking grossly oversimplifies the choices and processes in play. Shared infrastructure is best managed collectively, and personal effects best managed personally. Where there is overlap, a truly successful society can provide reasonable individual options for either. The salient questions today are not about diverting all resources and means of production to either public or private sectors. Either extreme has proven unstable, and all states are increasingly compelled to strike a balance. The newer challenge is to decide how much of the private sector should be placed under corporate control, because unchecked, corporations become "communist" collectives in their own right, formatting the resources and productivity of the public for the service of corporate states within political states, even to the extent that corporate states surpass the influence of political structures nominally superior to them.
you need one in the middle. a system that lets people get there own money and be as rich as trhey want, countries can also be as rich as they want but not exploit and loot countries as is happening now. and there shoul;d be fairer trading. the current system is a fucking joke. while say 500 million people are rich, 5.5 billion are poor with 800 million starving and 3 billion very very poor and 1 billion extremely poor
Let the markets decide and we would live in a much more natural setting, government intervention in the long run makes people poorer. One world, with one economic system, we would all live better.
A lot of capitalist countries have varying degrees of socialism in them. Like the social democracies of Nordic Europe, to the welfare and medicare programs in North America. So by capitalism, what kind of capitalism do you mean?

Democracy would be the better of the two for if you don't like someone you can just vote them out and elect someone that you think would be better.
Communism is an ideal that deviant ideologies should form out of, communism itself cannot happen if the worldwide proletariat are ignorant of their position in life.

You said successful, I said that if the worldwide proletariat knew its position then chances are that the revolution would be feasible. But I don’t think it would be ultimately successful.
