    Capitalism usualy is bad for the environment. Because uswually in capitalism you make things and sell them and make a profit, so then you cut down trees and what not to make factorys. FUCK capitalism

    what immediately comes to mind as an example of environmental destruction under Communist regimes, is how the Soviets used to despose of their nuke waste. they just dumped it in forrests or burried it in fields.
    it's been lying around for decades (and still is), poisoning the environment and people with radiation. i understand it's "for the good of the people", but nuke waste destroying nature and life is nuke waste destroying nature and life.

    Yep, Capitalism is bad...we research technology and build containment equipment for our nuclear waste when we could have just dumped it in the Ocean like the Soviets.

    Perhaps communist countries allowed dumping of industrial waste because the state run organizations were too free. Certainly, a strong central authority could have outlawed such practices.

    The guidelines that prevent polluting in the US were not the voluntary result of free markets.
